About the Resource:

This web-based resource was created to satisfy the requirements of the Interactive Technology and Pedagogy Certificate Program.

Inexpensive tickets to quality shows other than those produced on Broadway do exist and are available to students, but it often requires industry know-how to navigate the plethora of online websites and resources that present information about ticketing options. I wanted to help reduce this information barrier in an attempt to promote professional theatre attendance and ensure that students knew how to attend affordable theatre productions.

A special thanks to Michael Mandiberg, Lisa Brundage, and the ITP Core II Spring 2015 class for direction and assessment on my original project proposal. I’m also indebted to my students at Brooklyn College and my colleagues in the Theatre Program at the Graduate Center for constructive feedback and enthusiasm about the project throughout its development.
